Goowid Bank is a new type of bank that is designed to be easy and accessible to freelancers.

As a user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designer at ETZ Tech, a uk based SaaS company, I had the privilege of spearheading the research and design of this banking app.

The primary goal was to create an easy-to-use and accessible prototype that would pave the way for a of banking services, catering to the needs of modern, tech-savvy users.

Understanding Freelancers' Needs:I did thorough research to learn about freelancers' requirements, likes, and challenges. This helped me design the app with freelancers in mind.

Creating a Strong Brand Identity:I made a clear and consistent brand style for the Goowid banking app. This meant choosing the right colors, fonts, and even making a logo that connects with freelancers. When everything looks and feels the same, it makes the app more memorable and interesting to use.

Making App Blueprints:I drew both simple sketches (on paper) and more detailed digital designs to show how the app would work. These sketches were like a map, explaining where everything would be on the app. They helped me see how users would use the app and get feedback from others.

Testing to Make Sure It Works:I watched how people use the figma prototype to make sure it's easy and useful. When they had trouble, I knew I needed to make changes. This made sure that using the app would be better and smoother.

Creating Professional Designs:I put together good-looking and polished designs for the app. I used what I learned from talking to freelancers and the sketches to make sure the app looks just right. I used pictures, fonts, and layout to give the app a professional and attractive appearance.

By doing all these things, I aimed to create an app that's easy, helpful, and enjoyable for freelancers like you. I hope you find it great to use!

To make sure the Goowid banking app is perfect for freelancers, I asked to the target audience questions to learn what problems they face and what they need in a banking app.

Here are the main questions I asked and what I learned:

  • What's Hard About Freelancing Finances? I wanted to know what's tough for freelancers when it comes to money. This helped me figure out what features the Goowid app needs to make things easier for you.
  • How Do You Keep Track of Money? I found out how freelancers keep an eye on the money they make and spend. This helped me create a tool in the app to help you keep track of your money.
  • Trouble with Getting Paid? I learned if freelancers have problems getting paid and keeping track of who paid them. This helped me make a way for you to send invoices and know when you've been paid.
  • Saving for Taxes and Expenses? I asked about how freelancers save money for things like taxes and work expenses. This helped me make a tool to help you save money for these things.

With all this information, I got a clear picture of what freelancers go through.

Boosting Financial Insights for Freelancers with Goowid Banking:

Getting the Facts with Advanced Data Analysis: Goowid Bank uses super-smart number-crunching to help freelancers really understand their money situation.

Your Unique Spending Picture: The app shows the users spend money, gives freelancers smart tools for managing their budget, and suggests ways to save. This helps freelancers make smarter choices about their money.

Seeing is Understanding: With tools, charts and graphs users can play with, they get what's going on with their money at a glance. This helps  take better control of finances.

During the wireframing phase of the Goowid app, I'm making sure the design works smoothly on both computers and mobile devices. This way, freelancers have the freedom to manage their finances whenever and wherever they want. So, whether it's on a computer or a phone, freelancers can effortlessly log in to their accounts and handle their transactions with ease.
